Correspondence on medical issues includes letter 25 Aug. 1854 expressing disapproval of treatment of cholera patients. Series 2 contains case descriptions of two patients, a woman suffering from an illness causing convulsions and nausea and report of a man who dislocated metatarsal bones in his foot. Series 3 includes report of Medical Society of Northampton County's Committee on "Clerico-Medical Examiners" expressing disapproval of clerics practicing medicine without proper training and transcript of speech given by William C. Cattell, President of Lafayette College, on dedication of Lafayette's observatory, which had been donated by Green. Inclues brief genealogy of the Traill family and an engraving of Green.

William Cassady Cattell (1842-1898) was president of Lafayette College from 1863-1883. Cattell also taught during his years as president, serving as Professor of Mental and Moral Philosophy. After his retirement as president of Lafayette College, Cattell took a new post as Secretary of the Board of Ministerial Relief of the Presbyterian Church in 1884.
